Where are you located?
You can find us at: Suite 6, 119-125 Ocean Beach Road Sorrento VIC 3943. Enter through the door next to the cafe on Darling Road. You will find us up the stairs on the left hand side.
Parking is available on surrounding streets and behind our building. Parking can be limited during peak times so please keep this in mind.
What are the opening hours?
You can find our studio timetable here. We are open 7 days a week with multiple classes each day.
What are the pricing options?
Classes and packs:
-Intro offer: $55 (new members only, 4 x classes to be used within 7 days)
-Single reformer: $35
-5 pack: $150
-10 pack: $270
-20 pack: $500
-50 pack: $1000
Memberships:
All memberships are charged monthly. Cancel anytime/no minimum time frame.
-Monthly 8 x classes: $216
-Monthly 12 x classes: $300
How can I book a class?
You can book a class through our website. See our updated class schedule and book a class here
Do I need to bring anything to class?
For hygiene purposes we strongly encourage the use of grip socks for all classes. If you don't have any, we have them available to purchase at the studio. If you need to purchase socks, please arrive a little earlier to do so. We also recommend you bring your own towel and water bottle.
Reformer or Mat classes?
We offer a full timetable of reformer classes for now! Don’t worry, you can find hundreds of mat classes on our website and app in the meantime!
What kind of reformer classes do you offer?
We offer a variety of class styles and cater for all fitness levels. Ranging from a calming stretch class ( Flexibility and Form to a higher intensity class (Sweat & Sculpt), we have you covered!
- Reformer Sweat and Sculpt: We turn up the heat in this high intensity Pilates class using a combination of signature Pilates repertoire to raise your heart rate and give you that deep muscle burn that we know and love. Expect fast-paced, cardio-style bursts in between familiar and more classic Pilates muscle-toning moves. This class is perfect for sweating it out and getting those post workout endorphins flowing.
- Reformer Strength and Power: Feel the burn in this class that focuses on building muscle strength and tone. Using heavier springs and a combination of fast paced movemnts to get your hear rate up and slower paced movements to acheive the ultimate brun, you will activate every muscle in your body. This class is perfect for those who want to focus more on building overall tone and strength, while still moving in a mindful, 'Pilates' way.
- Reformer Energise and Tone: The Our Pilates' signature class, where you will feel the perfect combination of stretch and burn. This is a full body class, that uses fun, yet challenging Pilates repertoire to leave you feeling energised and in tune with your body. Expect to feel your muscles work hard while still focusing on improving your technique and form, for the ultimate Pilates experience that is sure to get those endorphins flowing. This class is perfect for lengthening and strengthening your entire body from top to toe.
- Reformer Flexibility and Form: Perfect your Pilates technique in this class that focuses on flexibility, control and form. Using exercises to improve your posture, core stability and general muscle tone, expect to feel stronger, more grounded and possibly a little taller by the end of your class. This class is perfect for anyone who is new to Pilates or those wanting a slower paced class that will also enhance their technique and alignment.
- Reformer Mums and Bubs: Brooke and Han both understand how difficult it can be for new mums to get to an in studio class so our Mums and Bubs offering is incredibly important to us. Bring your little one along to join in on the fun on a mat beside you while you give your mind and body some TLC. This class is suitable from 8 weeks postpartum (provided you have medical clearance to exercise) up until bub starts crawling. Please bring your own mat/pram for bubs to use, and any quiet toys that keep your little one entertained.
How many reformers are in the studio?
Our studio has 8 reformer beds. This means a much more personalised experience with our amazing instructors. We have created a space that will elevate and enhance your experience so that you get the most out of every class.
I am online member, do I have to create another account to book a class?
Yes, in addition to your online membership with us, you will also need to create and account to book a class at our studio. Our online memberships and our in studio memberships are all seperate. We offer an exclusive in studio discount for all online members so please email us at sorrentostudio@ourpilates.com and we will send you the information on how to access your discount.
Do you have storage lockers? What other facilities?
We have small storage lockers but they are not able to be locked. While the lockers are visible from your reformer and our main door is locked during each class, we recommend you leave any personal/valuable items at home. We offer complimentary tea prior to class. We have toilets, heating, cooling and running water to fill your drink bottle in the bathrooms.
Are any classes pregnancy friendly?
Yes, our Flexibility and Form classes will offer modifications for pregnancy. We have wedges that allow you to lie on the reformer and will offer an alternative to any exercises that are not safe during pregnancy. As we have a limited number of wedges, we just ask for notification if you are pregnant so our instructors can prepare. Please email us at sorrentostudio@ourpilates.com.au prior to your first class so that we can make note of your pregnancy. Depending on demand, we may increase our pregnancy offering, so please let us know if you want to see more pregnancy-friendly classes on the schedule!
